Electric Car

Electric Vehicle (EV), normally with one or more electric motors for propulsion. Often chemical energy stored on the vehicle in on-board batteries: Battery electric vehicle (BEV).

Hybrid Vehicles (Click here for), normally a cross of EV with an on-board rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) and a fueled generator, combustion engine, gasoline or diesel. The fuel cost for an electric car is one quarter that of a gasoline car. Lithium-ion batteries extend the range and top speed. Choose from several new models or convert a conventional car into an electric car.
