Foam Insulation

Can FROTH-PAK be injected into an existing wall for insulation or soundproofing?
It depends.
The quick cure FROTH-PAK foam
expands with a lot of force and since the installer cannot see how much foam is injected the expanded foam can “blow out” the wall. FROTH-PAK Slow Rise foam should be used as it expands slower than the standard FROTH-PAK Quick Cure version. It is recommended that foam be applied from the bottom up. “Breather holes” every 12” are recommended to reduce foam pressure.
frequently asked questions about FROTH-PAK

Open-cell polyurethane foam technology offers a complete air barrier system provides occupants with a quieter and more comfortable indoor space. Significant energy efficiency value by filling open voids, cracks and crevices during installation. Durafill insulation is recommended for walls, attics, ceilings and floors. Durafill offers an R-value of 3.52 per inch.

Closed-cell foam insulation material, This hybrid formulation was specifically designed for cold substrate, vapor barrier applications to extend the insulation season in cooler climates. This adds durability to the structure and seals the building envelope to create an energy efficient environment. PolarPro insulation is recommended for non-vented attics, ceilings, floors, foundations, piping, and non-vented crawl spaces. Polar Pro offers an R-Value of 7.14 per inch.

Your Energy Savings
With escalating energy prices, it's no wonder why almost 90% of homeowners are demanding energy efficient features.

By applying foam barrier to underside of roofing can give additional savings by preventing the heat transfer, reducing attic temperatures and improving overall home insulation envelope.
Foam Insulation is the most rewarding option because it offers a constant payback for ongoing energy savings.
Air Leakage in the home, the #1 thief of home energy costs,
“Drafty Home Syndrome”.
An Air Barrier can result in savings of up to 50% every month in energy costs versus conventional insulation.
The Appraisal Journal conducted studies that demonstrate the increasing value a home garners by becoming more energy efficient. Including energy efficient upgrades as part of your home improvements can increase the value of your home by approximately $20 for every $1 reduction in annual utility bills.
