Now we can add Economic Crisis in our country to the top of the list! Blunders from all directions contributed to this problem & I believe that "The 9-12 Project" could be an answer or at the very least a start!
We are experiencing disasters more frequently and with increased severity. From decades of available research & reading many books on Earth changes, the material became pretty convincing that we’re on a path of change. And that time of change has arrived, but concrete evidence was needed, information we could refer to reliably and show the disbelieving why we need to prepare.
From increasing Earth Quakes, Floods in the Mid-West 2008, Tsunami Dec. 2004, Record Breaking Hurricanes, Record Breaking Tornadoes, Meteorite Hit south of Lima Peru, What more do we need to convince us to consider the Boy Scout Motto “Be Prepared”! 1.) And now terrorism is added to the mix. If you are having trouble convincing family members, spouses and friends of the need for having supplies on hand, Dare To Prepare is an invaluable aid.
 I have been at the scene, aftermath of hurricane Katrina & Wilma, delivering water supplies in that effort. I have personally seen some of the aftermath, destruction of our small towns in Kansas & Midwest. 2.) Water Storage & filtration is of highest priority, without it you will perish quickly. I have talked to people in these areas & found that those that were prepared for the possibility fared well. Especially those that had self protection, in the event of planning.
Lets take a lesson from a 3rd world country, in the face of a disaster, that’s pretty much what you have.
Recommendations for around the HomeIt is strongly recommended that you should buy a few extra non-perishables that are on sale, each time you grocery shop. A couple of gallons of water & store them in a cool, dark pantry, 1 gal. per Person, each day, ration average. Estimate how many people, (Example: a can of chunky soup per person-average) multiply by 3 in a day, multiply by number of days or weeks or months that you are planning. Keep in mind that New Orleans didn’t get help or water for a month.

Darwin, Aliens or God?
A former geophysicist and college professor, Stephen C. Meyer argued for the existence of intelligent design (ID) based upon DNA, and scientific evidence from such fields as biology, physics, chemistry, and cosmology. These new discoveries have outstripped the Darwinian approach, which never addressed where first life came from, he said. The earliest cellular life that emerged 3.8 billion years ago, such as blue-green algae, wasn't simple at all according to molecular biology research. Rather, such cell life was a highly complex "factory" run on a DNA code that was akin to advanced technology, he detailed, and this DNA reflects the purposeful design of an intelligent force. We don't necessarily need religion in the picture to conclude that ID is in effect, he said, but of the two theories of who the designer is-- extraterrestrials or a God being, Meyer favors the latter explanation. Evidence of design is in the very fabric of the universe itself, he commented.
Materialism is the view that everything in the universe can ultimately be explained in physical terms, yet matter is a bad candidate to be primordial reality, Meyer stated. Biological systems contain intricate informational structures and their origin cannot be explained by just physical forces, he said.
